Typical Alberta long weekend. One weather extreme to the next.
We try to get a few chores done, and some are accomplished. Cleaning the shed, hauling in some hay for the summer months, purchase the bedding plants and vegetables. But Sunday afternoon turns to cold rain, and Monday morning we wake up to snow and minus 4, so things have to slow down again.
No worries. We have come to expect things like this. Just sit back and relax in the hammock.
The shed photos are amazing. This must have been George’s opportunity to take an inventory to see whether he had everything he needed as per some men’s magazine article he’d read. Great gallery of an even better time.
I can’t understand how every year I can throw out a truckload of garbage, yet the shed never empties. It’s the mythical cornucopia in reverse.
Sheds are like women’s purses . . . .
