The summer long project, interrupted only by three weeks of berry picking has been fencing the north property line and two cross fences. The end result was two more pastures for grazing, a couple more riding trails and hopefully never having to tramp across the neighbours fields to bring home the horses again.
I’m not finished mind you, but I’m pretty sure I’ve pounded the last post, for this project at least.
Today I brought the horses down to the far corner meadow. To the surprise of us all, the cranky neighbours’ llama was out. Have I mentioned Sage does NOT like llamas? His reaction was a mixture of fear, curiousity and aggression. Coach was more of a “sure, it’s freaky, but there’s lots of yummy grass over here.”
Curiousity and hunger won out as you can tell from the photos.
Perhaps you’ve perfected post pounding? Pshaw!
Pfft!
Hmm.. sounds like I can keep a llama at your place now that the horses like ‘em.
If you’re going into the llama sitting business let me know. I’ve got three or four that I don’t know what to do with when I go on vacation to Neverland.
